The Business Energy Investment Tax Credit, a federal incentive program, offers a 30% tax credit for the entire expenditure.

With five (5) year Modified Accelerated Cost-Recovery System (MACRS), businesses may recover investments in solar and wind systems through depreciation deductions, up to 50% in the first year through 2009!

Local utility incentives, available from select utilities beginning in 2010, can further reduce your cost basis by up to 25% for solar energy systems.
