Commercial Wind Solutions

Our Wind Energy Projects - Kansas City Area
Our Wind Energy Projects -St. Louis Area

We offer businesses, county governments, municipalities, school districts and farms wind turbine systems ranging in size from 2.4 KW to 100 KW.

Investing in wind power provides the following benefits:

  • Lower overhead through reduced electrical costs
  • Tax advantages make solar energy and wind power an even better investment : the federal investment tax credit for businesses reduce the cost by 30% and the rules for claiming depreciation on wind turbines have improved.
  • County Governments, Municipalities and School Districts can pursue grant programs that significantly reduce the cost of investing in wind power.
  • Local governments who have enacted Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards (RPS) can lead their communities into a greener world through wind power.
  • Wind power infrastructure investments reduce cost and benefit the tax payers.
  • Wind-powered electricity costs will be stable for 30 years or more, and safeguard your operational budget against the volatile and increasing costs of energy.
  • The “greening” of a business enables you to make the business more visible to newer market segments.
  • Producing your own electricity enables energy independence.

How it Works
Wind is created by the uneven heating of the earth’s atmosphere by the sun. The energy of the wind rotates the blades of a wind turbine, which drives a generator that produces an electrical current. How wind power works is illustrated here (click the tabs at the top right).

Consider Wind for Your Business
We will conduct a Commercial Wind Site Survey Assessment to determine the viability of wind energy for your business:

  • Together we review your business and environmental objectives.
  • Go through the last 12 – 24 month of your utility bills.
  • Evaluate your site for the best location of a wind turbine.
  • Determine the best application of technology to address your requirements with a system design and cost estimate.
  • Develop an energy model that projects energy production over the life of the system.
  • Build a financial benefits model that describes the projected business benefits of the proposed approach.
  • Produce all documents required for permitting utility interconnection.

Implementation
Once the decision has been made to move forward with installing a system, we offer the expertise, technology, equipment and services to deliver a solution. As a fully licensed contractor, we execute the entire installation process to ensure the system is installed and will perform according to the design.

Annual Maintenance
We offer annual maintenance services to ensure the system performs as intended. Our services include:

  • Checking the system twice a year
  • Annual electrical connection review
  • Annual utility interconnection check
  • Service calls
  • System production monitoring

Promotional Program
Our internet based monitoring system allows you to evaluate your energy production and promote your commitment to the environment.
